Struggle Jennings Celebrates His 46th Birthday On Nu Country TV
Struggle Jennings celebrates his 46th birthday as he takes viewers on a trip to a wild west town to tell a story about his roots.
Struggle is step-grandson of the late Waylon Jennings and grandson of guitarist Duane Eddy and singing spouse Jessi Colter.
He performs Last Name that follows his 12th album El Camino.
Struggle was born William Curtis Harness Jr and was a rapper and an original member of Yelawolf’s Slumerican label roster along with Bubba Sparxxx.
Harness was born to William Harness Sr and Jennifer Eddy – the daughter of Duane Eddy and Jessi Colter.
Harness Sr. was murdered in 1990.
Harness Jr. spent much of his childhood in the company of his grandmother’s second husband, Waylon Jennings, whose surname he took as his stage name.
His uncle is country rock singer Shooter Jennings, who is only one year older.

Whey Jennings Dirt Rock Empire Graduate
Whey Jennings – grandson of late outlaw king Waylon Jennings – went through similar drug days as Waylon.
Whey, now 47, survived to record his debut album Jekyll & Hyde and 2 EPs – Gypsy Soul in 2020 and If It Wasn’t for The Sinning in 2022.
Jennings is the nephew of Waylon and Jessie Colter’s son Shooter.
He performs What Loving You Does from his new Dirt Rock Empire album.
Whey dealt with similar demons to Waylon who died at 64 on February 13, 2002.
He beat the devil as he headed into the deepest mines in his vivid video for Jekyll & Hyde – his debut solo album title track.
Whey also fronted our show with his videos for Ten Day Run, Just Before The Dawn and with Creed Fisher on Don’t You Think This Outlaw Things Done Got Out Of Hand that was cut by Waylon as the second single on his I’ve Always Been Crazy album in 1978.

Morgan Wallen And Luke Combs Behind Bars
Tennessean Morgan Wallen and North Carolina coal-miner’s son Luke Combs return to Behind Bars with memories of love on the lost highway.
They sang of memories that linger long after love fades – the faces, songs, and moments time couldn’t wash away.
The duo had vast armies of fans for their recent Australian tours.
11-time Grammy winner Luke, now 36, and Morgan, now 33, joined forces for Ain’t What Time Forgot.
Wallen released his 37-track album I’m The Problem last year.
Morgan runs This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen in Nashville when not on the road.
Wallen and fellow Australian tourist Lainey Wilson recently performed Still Standing Here on Nu Country TV.
Combs appeared on our show with I Ain’t No Cowboy from his 22-track sixth album The Way I Am.
Luke and Tennessean Jelly Roll also fronted Nu Country with their gospel flavoured video I’m Never Alone.
Combs also appeared on our show with Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma, Where The Wild Things Are, Six Feet Apart, Growing Up And Getting Old and Cold Beer Calling My Name.
Combs, who toured here last year, and singing spouse Nicole are parents of three sons.

Miranda Lambert Also Behind Bars
Texan troubadour and triple Grammy winner Miranda Lambert returns to Behind Bars with a powerful message to Trump supporters.
She sang of fierce whiskey-fuelled defiance from a Texas border woman facing ICE raids with a loaded gun and unbreakable patriotic fire in her Ice At My Door But My Gun’s Loaded video.
It follows her 11th studio album Postcards From Texas and four with the Pistol Annies.
Miranda, 42, is the ex-singing spouse of fellow star Blake Shelton.
She’s now married to New York City Police officer Brendan McLoughlin.
Miranda can always call on Brendan to protect her from ICE.
Lambert runs canine shelters in the Lone Star state and way beyond and thanked Ram Trucks for supporting her Mutt Nation Foundation’s disaster relief efforts in the Twisters.
Miranda fronted our show with Ain’t In Kansas Anymore on The Twisters soundtrack and Damn It Randy she penned with husband Brendan for Postcards From Texas and A Song To Sing with Chris Stapleton and Last Goodbye.
Michael Hardy, Lukas Nelson and Jake Worthington joined Miranda for her Music For Mutts benefit concert at Nashville Ascend Amphitheatre October 5 with Ashley Monroe, Natalie Hemby, Little Big Town, Dan + Shay and Riley Green.
Her Mutt Nation Foundation 15th anniversary fundraiser included adoption events.
The nonprofit raised over $10 million to promote adoption support shelters, advance spay and neuter and assist emergency response during natural disasters.

Chris Stapleton And Dolly Parton Return
Kentucky coal-miner’s son Chris Stapleton, now 47, and singing actor Dolly Parton, just 80, boomerang to our show with a salute to a higher being.
They perform Stand By Me Lord from a new gospel tribute album.
Dolly Parton celebrated her 80th birthday this year with good old gals – Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire on the 68th season premiere of Nu Country TV at 10 pm on Saturday April 18.
She recently released an album Run, Rose, Run that shares its name with a best-selling book she wrote with author James Patterson and features Ben Haggard and Joe Nichols as guests.
It preceded her Rockstar album featuring artists diverse as Chris Stapleton, John Fogerty and Ringo Starr on November 2023 via her Butterfly Records.
She released another new book Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones on October 17, 2023.
Her new picture book about her god-dog Billy the Kid Makes It Big is about her dog who barks to beats of country music and dreams of being a country music star in Nashville.
Parton teamed with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams for her sequel of her Dolly’s Strawberry Pretzel Pie ice cream to promote her album on Butterfly.
She also released Dolly Parton’s Baking Collection that includes her Southern Style Coconut Flavored Cake Mix, Southern Style Banana Flavored Cake Mix, Creamy Buttercream Frosting, Chocolate Buttercream Frosting and a collectible tea towel and spatula.
Dolly met her late husband Carl Dean 62 years ago en route to the Wishy-Washy laundromat.

Saralyn Cowgirl Blues
NSW singer-songwriter Saralyn showcases her cowgirl blues on her Nu Country debut.
She was filmed in Gresford, NSW, across a huge open paddock on a local friend’s farm.
Saralyn visited her hometown pub where the video quickly turned into a celebration.
Cowgirl Blues followed her appearance on The Voice with If Tomorrow Never Comes.
She also released White Butterfly, I Would Run To Get To You and Freedom Train.
