Chart -topping duo Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson headline Nu Country TV on Saturday May 23 at 10 pm on Channel 31/ Digital 44.
Country rapper Jelly Roll and Miley Cyrus, Kentucky coal-miner’s son Chris Stapleton, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Texans Flatland Cavalry boomerang to the show that is repeated on Monday at 1 am.
Tennessee singer-songwriter Larry Fleet also appears on our program that is produced by our camera man and editor Laith Graham.
Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.

Morgan And Lainey Boomerang As Headliners

Tennessee tourist and major star Morgan Wallen and Louisiana belle Lainey Wilson return to our show this week after they toured Australia this year.
Morgan, now 33, and Lainey won large audiences on their tours here.
Wallen runs This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen in Nashville when not on the road.
They perform Still Standing Here that follows Morgan’s fourth album I’m The Problem & Grammy winner Lainey’s fifth album Whirlwind.
Lainey celebrated her 34th birthday on May 19.
She released her Netflix documentary Keeping Country Cool on April 22.
Lainey runs Bottoms Up 3-story bar, Cajun restaurant and music venue in Nashville.
Wilson also fronted our show with Somewhere Over Laredo from the deluxe edition of her Whirlwind album that followed her 2024 Australian tour with Jackson Dean and Kameron Marlowe and returned to our show with expat Australasian superstar Keith Urban on Go Home With You.
She previously appeared on Nu Country with Whirlwind, Heart Like A Truck, Texas When I Die, You Can’t Make Old Friends, Watermelon Moonshine, Wildflowers And Wild Horses, God Bless Texas and Hang Tight Honey.
Wilson won Entertainer of Year and Female Artist of Year and Music Event of Year for Save Me Jelly Roll at Academy of Country Music Awards in May last year.
Lainey has won six Academy Of Country Music Awards and seven Country Music Association Awards.
She performed at Rod Laver Arena on Friday February 20.

Jelly Roll And Miley Cyrus Heavenly Message

Country rapper-wrestler and singer-songwriter Jelly Rolly, now 41, and Miley Cyrus boomerang to our show with their heavenly message.
They perform God I’m Trying To Be Okay that follows Jelly Roll’s 10th album Beautifully Broken.
Miley, now 33, and a singing actor, is one of Billy Ray Cyrus’s six children and has released nine albums.
The three-time Grammy winner gained fame in Hannah Montana and was once married to Melbourne born star Liam Hemsworth.
Miley and brother Braison Cyrus previously appeared on Nu Country on his video Know This.
Braison, now 31 and a model and actor, and Jordan Lindley wrote the song that features special guest Kris Collins.
It precedes another Braison song As Long As You’ll Stay with backing vocals from his sister Miley and Grammy-nominated artist Noah Cyrus.
Braison released debut single I’ll Never Leave You in 2018 and followed with his debut album, Javelina.
He has a son Bear Chance Cyrus, now aged five, with wife Stella McBride.
Braison, Miley, Brandi, Trace, Christopher and Noah are the six children of singing actor Billy Ray who no longer has an achy breaky heart.

Kentucky coal-miner’s son and 11-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton stands in the light on his return to our show.
Chris, now 48, attracted plenty of lights on his two Rod Laver Arena concerts in 2024.
Chris and his singing spouse Morgane have five children including twins.
Stapleton, Zach Bryan and Lainey Wilson perform Highway To Regret that follows Chris’s fifth album Higher in their return to our show.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Reign On Nashville Skyline

The famed Nitty Gritty Band who topped the country charts for 60 years return to our show this week after forming in California in 1966.
The triple Grammy winning group are famed for their Will The Circle Be Unbroken discs and 50 other albums
This week they perform Nashville Skyline in their return to the Carter Vintage Guitars studio in music city Nashville.
They are now on their 60th Anniversary All The Good Times Farewell Tour – 60 Years of Dirt.

Flatland Cavalry Return With Love And Sorrow

Texan band Flatland Cavalry sang of love and lust in their home as a dog joined them in their Nu Country TV return on their Never Coming Back video.
The band formed in 2012 in Lubbock and have released five albums and four EPS.
Never Coming Back is on their fifth album Work Of Heart that was released in February.
They toured here with Lainey Wilson and Kaitlin Butts in February this year.

Larry Fleet On Both Sides Of The Fence

Tennessee singer-songwriter Larry Fleet returns to our show with a humorous video.
Larry, now 40, watched himself on TV while singing for his supper on Both Sides Of The Fence follows his debut hit Where I Find God.
It’s on his fourth album Another Year Older that he is touring here to promote at the Gympie Muster on August 28, Northcote Theatre on Thursday August 25, Liberty Hall, Sydney, on August 26 and Fortitude Hall, Brisbane, on August 29.
