Rockhampton singer-songwriter Bella Mackenzie and Victorian born Kaitlyn Thomas headline Nu Country TV on Channel 31/ Digital 44 in Australia at 10 pm on Saturday February 7.
Righteous Brothers member Bucky Heard, Georgian singer-songwriter Megan Moroney and fellow Georgian Clover County front the show repeated at 1 am on Monday.
Canadian Juno Award winner Brett Kissel also appears on the program filmed, edited and produced by our co-host and producer Laith Graham.

Bella Mackenzie Rides High In The Saddle

Rockhampton singer-songwriter and Voice TV show star Bella Mackenzie returns to our show with some of her favourite equines.
Bella, now 21, was raised on her family farm wrangling horses, cows and trucks.
It was natural she gathered some of her favourite equines on her Cowboy video from her debut album Wild Thing on Island Records.
“Cowboy was written to make the listener feel strong, proud and empowered. I knew I wanted to write a song that would not only pump up a festival crowd but also pump up that person sitting in their car listening”, Bella revealed.
Her video directed by Maddy King was filmed at Bella’s family farm in Rockhampton.
She wrote Cowboy with Mitchell Fenlon, Tamworth songwriter/producer Penrose and ARIA nominee Ryan Miller.
Bella teamed with LECADE on her previous Nu Country Wasted video.
It followed recent singles 1, 2, 3 You & Me, Ain’t For You, Make Me Wanna Love and Miss You No More.
Bella joined American singer Riley Green on stage at a recent Riding Hearts festival at the Caribbean Gardens at Scoresby.

Victorian born bucolic belle Kaitlyn Thomas delivers her parody of a man who deceives her and other young women in her return to our show.
She tells her story of a love gone wrong, set ablaze by deceit and regret.
Thomas channels heartbreak into power, transforming pain into a foot-stomping, soul-stirring country anthem.
Kaitlyn, now 25, made Top 10 of the 2025 Top 10 Toyota Star Maker quest, Australian Idol and scored airplay for new single Mississippi Lies and her previous single Hell Of A Long Time.
She wrote her debut single First Kiss with Katrina Burgoyne and followed with Coulda Shoulda Woulda, Make Your Move and Pretty Little Thing.
Thomas was a finalist in Mothertone Talent Search at Gympie Music Muster and graduate of both junior and senior CMAA Academy of Country Music and Australian Youth Songwriter of the Year in 2012 and 2018.

Alabama born Bucky Heard celebrates his days in a career that included joining Bill Medley in the Righteous Brothers on his Nu Country debut.
Bucky, now 58, joined Medley in 2016 in the Righteous Brothers who have recorded 16 albums.
Heard now tours with his Horn Dawgs band and is creator, writer and producer of an original children’s musical variety show Rock U Mentally.
My Best Days is the title track of his third solo album that followed Through The Years and his Act Of God musical.

Georgian Megan Moroney reveals her surrealistic splendour on her Nu Country return that she exposed on her Riding Hearts and CMC Rocks Queensland festivals shows
Moroney graduated from university with a marketing degree before chasing her music dreams.
Megan, now 28, won major audiences on her two Australian tours and recently toured the U.S. with Kenny Chesney.
Am I Ok is the title track of her second album that was re-released as a deluxe disc.

She performs Virginia Slim from her debut album Finer Things on her own label Undercover Lover.
It follows her singles Black Leather Daydream, Limbo and Ultraviolet and her 2014 EP Porch Light.
Clover moved from Orlando, Florida to Denver, Atlanta, Birmingham, and finally Athens, Georgia.

Prolific Canadian Juno Award winner Brett Kissel returns to our show with his celebration of cowboys and dreamers.
Brett, now 35, grew up in Edmunton, Alberta, and recorded his first album aged just 12.
He now lives with his wife and two children on his family’s cattle ranch in Alberta’s Flat Lake region.
Cowboys and Dreamers is on his 15-track 14th Let Your Horses Run deluxe album which features Dierks Bentley on Hurting Song.
