Mason Boys And Andrew Swift Headline Nu Country TV

Melbourne roots country artists The Mason Boys and Berwick triple Golden Guitarist Andrew Swift headline Nu Country TV this Saturday December 27 at 10 pm on Channel 31/ Digital 44.

Texans Whey Jennings and Jake Worthington boomerang to the show repeated at 1 am on Monday.

Singing actor-comedian and banjo aces Steve Martin and Alison Brown are joined by Jeff Hanna and another Browne – Jackson – this week.

Kansas singer Honor appears on the show produced, filmed and edited by co-host Laith Graham.

Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.

Melbourne band The Mason Boys shotgun another whiskey in their return to our show.

The Mason Boys attended Georgian star Zac Brown’s sold-out concert at Margaret Court Arena in October.

The quintet raised a little hell on stage at Tamworth Country Music festival at the Courthouse hotel in a video directed by Adam Simson from Borderlines.

Shotgun Another Whiskey is on their second album Welcome To The Country that features all original songs and follows their 2016 debut album Feels Like Home.

Berwick triple Golden Guitarist Andrew Swift boomerangs by popular demand.

Swift is kicking tyres in his return to our show after playing Gympie Muster and Tamworth.

Andrew found plenty of trucks, truckers and fans to illustrate his vivid video.

Kicking Tyres is on his fourth album Lucky Stars released on October 17.

Swift previously fronted our show with backing vocalists Gretta Ziller and Ashleigh Leef on Nothing Better.

They hit an open road in his panel van as he headed back to his hometown after they visited Beaconsfield, Kangaroo Ground and Research.

Swift also fronted our show with Ziller at Curtin Room in Carlton in her Nu Country video Go On – fifth single from her Queen Of Boomtown album.

Texan Jake Worthington Praises New Home In Oklahoma

Texas born Jake Worthington, now 25, performs in a colourful celebration of his new home state Oklahoma in Behind Bars.

Jake began writing songs and performing live on Texas stages while just 13 and 14.

He was runner-up on the 6th season of The Voice at 17 and recorded his singles Texas To Oklahoma and State You Left Me In.

My Home’s In Oklahoma is on his alcohol fuelled new album When I Write The Song that includes Drowning in Whiskey and I Only Drink When It Rains.

Texan singer-songwriter Whey Jennings returns to Behind Bars with a sizzle wheel that keeps his family name burning bright.

Whey followed the trail of his grandmother Jessi Colter and her late singing spouse Waylon who died at 64 on February 13, 2002.

Whey is the nephew of Waylon and Jessi Colter’s son Shooter.

The singer, now 44, previously appeared on our show with Can’t Outrun A Train that followed his debut album Jekyll & Hyde.

Whey also fronted our show with Jekyll & Hyde, Ten Day Run, Just Before The Dawn and with Creed Fisher on Don’t You Think This Outlaw Things Done Got Out Of Hand cut by Waylon as the second single on his I’ve Always Been Crazy album in 1978.

His previous EPs were Gypsy Soul in 2020 and If It Wasn’t for The Sinning in 2022.

Five-time Grammy winner and singing actor, comedian and bluegrass hero Steve Martin and Alison Brown return to our show with another Brown – Jackson – and Jeff Hanna.

Steve, now 80 and born in Waco, travelled back through a colourful collage of stage shows in Dear Time.

Twice wed Martin has starred in movies, musical and TV shows and written screen plays and books and toured Australia with fellow singing actor Martin Short and the Steep Canyon Rangers in Now You See Them, Soon You Won’t stage show.

They also starred in the Only Murders In The Building TV show.

Steve and fellow banjo ace Brown also released songs including Bluegrass Radio.

Allison, now 63, was born in Connecticut, recorded with Allison Krauss in Union Station and has released 15 albums.

Dear Time is on Martin’s 12th album Safe, Sensible and Sane.

Honor Takes A Midnight Train To Georgia

Dodge City, Kansas born singer-songwriter Honor takes a Midnight Train To Georgia in her Nu Country TV return.

Honor, now 21, lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma has performed music since the age of four.

Honor signed to Sweet Song studio in Nashville and her debut single Bad Day to Fish reached top ten.

She has since released five songs including her country version of Midnight Train to Georgia.
