Louisiana lass Lainey Wilson sees a neon rainbow from her 737-jet plane window in her return to our show.
The Grammy winner recalls her lover at a rodeo way below the plane on the banks of the famed Rio.
Lainey, now 33, may have left her lover but enjoys his memories in the Texas sky.
Somewhere Over Laredo is on the deluxe edition of her fifth album Whirlwind that followed her 2024 Australian tour with Jackson Dean and Kameron Marlowe.
Lainey also fronted our show with expat Australasian superstar Keith Urban on their Go Home With You.

Minor Gold Leave A Light On

Melbourne duo Minor Gold leave a light on while on the road overseas and in Queensland.
Dan Parsons and expat Canadian Tracy McNeil called Melbourne home where they sang and wrote songs as a duo for 16 years.
Tracy, now 50, cut five solo and Good Life band albums with Dan.
Leave A Light on is on their seventh album Way To The Sun that was released on July 25.
It followed their 2023 album Minor Gold.

Minor Gold hit Queensland surf beaches in their search for brighter lights on previous Nu Country TV video Way To The Sun – title track to their new album released on July 25.
The duo also fronted our show with Tumbleweed, Mona Lisa, Cannonball and Don’t Change.

Pastor Brendon Walmsley Preaches Gold

Queensland treble Golden guitarist and Pastor Brendon Walmsley is joined by local hot country gospel gurus Steve Grace and Colin Buchanan on his Nu Country TV return.
Brendon is a pastor at the Toowoomba Church of Christ and played The Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber 2013 musical Phantom Of The Opera.

He performs his He’s Got The Whole World video from his fourth album Road to Riverleigh.

Kelsey Waldon Flower Power

Kentuckian Kelsey Waldon fertilizes her floral favourites as she boomerangs to our show.
Kelsey sang of how the flowers in her garden never die for a past lover so she planted the seeds he gave her in her new video.
Waldon, now 38, has her name etched on the welcome sign to her hometown – Monkey’s Eyebrow in Kentucky coal country.
Tiger Lillies is on her seventh album Every Ghost on the late John Prine’s Oh Boy records.
“As a Kentuckian, I grew up seeing signs like this all over my beloved home state – ‘Home Of’ Merle Travis, Bill Monroe, Loretta Lynn, Keith Whitley, Ricky Skaggs, Dwight Yoakam, Patty Loveless, Tom T Hall, all of Country Music Highway 23 and countless others,” Kelsey revealed.
“Add this to the list of proud moments. Thank-you Ballard County officials for making it happen. It means a lot.”
Ballard County is shaped as a monkey’s head and Monkey’s Eyebrow is where the eyebrow would be or how the town looks like an eyebrow from nearby hills or the local general store once only considered good enough for “a bunch of monkeys.”

Waldon previously fronted Nu Country TV with Travelling The Highway Home, Hello Stranger – A.P. Carter song – and Tall And Mighty from sixth album No Regular Dog that Shooter Jennings produced.
She also graced our show with Sweet Little Girl from No Regular Dog and Anyhow from third album White Noise/ White Lines she produced with Dan Knobler.

Chris Janson Searches For A Bride

Missouri Minstrel Chris Janson returns to our show with his bridal ballad.
Chris, now 39, is not seeking a new bride.
He wed singing spouse Kelly Lynn in 2010 and they have four children.
Chris wrote Tim McGraw hit Truck Yeah and Justin Moore’s 2010 album Off The Beaten Path title track.
He performs The Bride video to promote his sixth album Wild Horses.

Chris Janson was joined by famous actor Dwayne The Rock Johnson for fishing and deer hunting in his previous Nu Country video
What You See Is What You Get and Fix A Drink that followed his fifth album The Outlaw Side Of Me.

Nebraska born Kelli Belles, who also records as Belles, puts her best foot forward in her return to Behind Bars.
Kelli, now 25, may have a footwear fetish.
She performs Broken In Boots that follows her Nu Country What In The Truck, Happy Hour and Porcelain videos and debut album All Hat No Cowboy.
What In The Truck was her first single for Deluge Records.
Kelli also sings with her mother as Mulberry Lane.

The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 46.
