Bentley’s Belle Rings Loud And Clear

Singing pilot Dierks Bentley has pungent problems with his bucolic belle on his return to our show.
Bentley sings of how she hated his hat, his hair, his dog and his music on his She Hates Me video that follows his 10th album Gravel And Gold.
Dierks, now 49, played St Kilda Palais with Lee Kernaghan in 2012 where they welcomed former AFL stars Andrew Walker, team-mate David Ellard and St Kilda captain and latter day TV host Nick Riewoldt.
Bentley praised an American girl in his recent Nu Country video Cowboy Boots with Arkansas traveller Ashley McBryde.
It’s on Tom Petty country tribute disc Petty Country that features Dolly Parton, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Willie and Lukas Nelson, George Strait, Lainey Wilson, Jamey Johnson, Steve Earle, Margo Price, Marty Stuart and more stars.
Dierks exploits his expertise behind controls of his private jet, bike, bed and the river in previous Nu Country videos Drunk On A Plane and Say You Do.
Dierks, father of three, flies his own jet to gigs in the U.S. and played a hero pilot on his Riser Airlines flight of fancy.
He fronted Nashville CMT Awards dressed as a Riser Airlines pilot.

Mackenzie Carpenter Red Flags

Georgian belle MacKenzie Carpenter also has problems with a beau who didn’t like her dog.
But she shows how he brought a six pack to their first date in her sports car in her Dozen Red Flags video from her debut album Hey Country Queen.
Mackenzie, 25, first charted with Can’t Nobody after writing songs with her brothers and singing in church.

She wrote Lily Rose’s 2021 No. 1 hit Villain and Top 15 singles I’m Not Pretty, Indifferent and 28th of June with fellow star Megan Moroney.
Since signing her record deal with Valory Music in 2022 she toured with Miranda Lambert, Megan Moroney, Jake Owen, Parker McCollum, Craig Campbell and Ryan Hurd.
Last year she released singles Sound Of A Heartbreak, Only Girl and (Holler) Boots On.

Josh Ross Complicated

Canadian Josh Ross returns to our show after playing the 2024 Riding Hearts Festival at the Caribbean Gardens in Scoresby.
Josh, now 30, hails from Ontario and agreed with the belle who left him and his car in flames in his latest video.
Leave Me Too follows his second EP Complicated.
The former construction manager and rugby refugee moved to Nashville in 2019 to follow his music and proved the journey was worth it.

Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen

Tennessee preacher’s son Morgan Wallen and Alabama singer Ella Langley boomerang to Nu Country TV.
Morgan, 32, has toured here several times after topping international charts.
He first fronted our show with his Chasing You video from his debut 2018 album If I Know Me and More Than My Hometown in 2020.

Wallen toured here in March 2019 with Georgian Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line.

Morgan’s father was pastor at Faith Baptist Church in White Pine, Tennessee.
As a child Wallen took piano and violin lessons and a scholarship to play baseball in college.
But after an injury he chose music on 2014 reality TV show The Voice.
Ella, now 26, hails from Hope Hull in Alabama
They perform Girl You’re Taking Home from Morgan’s 37 track fourth album I’m The Problem.
Ella debuted on Nu Country with her Hungover video – title track of her deluxe debut album on SAWGOD /Columbia Records released last November and follows her 2023 EP Excuse the Mess.

She also appeared with fellow Alabama born duo Riley Green with duet You Look Like You Love Me.

Shea Fisher High In The Saddle

Shea Fisher showcases her love of horses here and overseas as she is joined by fellow equestrians on her joyous journey.
Shea, now 36, was born out west in Portland on the Shipwreck Coast.
She’s the daughter of Australian bull riding and bareback riding champ Eddie Fisher and barrel racing belle Joanne Fisher.
Shea now lives in Texas with eight time National Finals Rodeo finalist Tyson Durfey whom she wed in 2013.
The mother of three also runs Shea Michelle Buckles & Shea Baby children’s clothing.

Take Me Back To Texas follows her three albums dating back to 2006.

Rebecca Correia Rose Coloured Glasses

New England and Massachusetts escapee Rebecca Correia, who lives in Leiper’s Fork near Nashville, wears rosy eyewear in Nu Country debut.
Rebecca, now 42, was joined by Lillie Mae by the fire and on the road in her new video.
Rose Coloured Glasses is on her Keb Mo produced sixth EP Grown Up Games.
The poignant track explores themes of personal growth, resilience and pursuit of solace and love.

Rebecca grew up on a rural horse farm in Rochester, Massachusetts, and plays guitar, piano and mandolin in her concerts and her albums.
She wrote another new tune Brand New Day with guitarist Jack Pearson about overcoming perils of depression.

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 46.
