NSW Central Coast father son duo Frecko, Georgian tourist Kip Moore, Sydney Golden Guitarist Christie Lamb and Arizona teenager Birdie Nichols appear on the show repeated at 3 am on Monday.
Vince Gill and Maggie Rose return to our program filmed and edited by Laith Graham.

Mallett Brothers Celebrate Dogs And Horses

Maine based Mallett Brothers Luke and Will head their Americana quintet that features Chuck Leavell from the famed Allman Brothers and Rolling Stones in their Nu Country TV return.
Luke Mallett and his wife Clarissa have 18 horses on their farm and take viewers on a trip in their Chevvy pick-up truck in their new video.
They fed their horses and dogs before hitting the stage at the Maine state theatre.
Dogs And Horses is on their ninth album Higher Up In The Hills.

Frecko Daughter’s New Ride

NSW band Frecko headed by Jason Freckelton and his son Jack hail from the NSW central coast.
They depict struggles of a young child whose mother and father go missing in action.
They wrote their song in Newcastle on a drive home from a concert.
Daughter’s New Ride is on their third album Dreams Are Hard To Sell.

The Copacabana duo filmed their previous joyous Nu Country video Good Times – celebration of Australian resilience when times get tough – near a town named Broke with director Jay Seeney.
Their previous hit Bury Me Deep – story of forgotten rural towns of Australia and their struggle with drought, fires and flood in the face of political inaction – is in new documentary Bone Dry.

Kip Moore Boomerangs

Georgian Kip Moore proves why he won many fans on his two Australian tours last year.
This time Kip, now 45, performed with his band in a studio on Around You that is on his new Wild World vinyl record that follows his sixth album Solitary Tracks.
Moore previously appeared on Nu Country TV with his videos for Beer Money, If I Was Your Lover, How High, Jani Blue, Fire On Wheels, In The Wild, Don’t Go Changing, More Girls Like You, How High and Last Shot.
Kip played Rod Laver Arena on Thursday October 3, 2024, and joined Randy Houser March 15 this year at Margaret Court Arena.
Moore was a 2023 CMC Rocks Queensland festival headliner with Zac Brown Band, Morgan Wallen, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser and other major acts at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich.
Kip also played 2018 CMC Rocks Queensland festival and Melbourne Forum with Lee Brice and Charlie Worsham.

Moore, one of six children, debuted at Snowy Mountains country festival in Thredbo and CMC Rocks Queensland in 2016.

Christie Lamb Hits Paddocks With Gal Pals

Prolific Sydney Golden Guitarist Christie Lamb, now 32, hit paddocks with some gal pals in her return to our show.
She is joined by cowboys and their Utes as they went fishing and swimming and enjoyed a whiskey or two at a BBQ
Christie wed fellow singer Jonathan English – son of veteran star Jon English – after they met on a 2012 tour but delayed their wedding because of the pandemic.
Damn Best is on the England born star’s fifth album.
Lamb previously fronted our show with her videos for Kiss About It and Flamethrower.
Lamb headed to Nashville after being raised at Kirkham in Macarthur sheep country near Campbelltown south of Sydney.

Birdie Nichols Love Ambush

Arizona born teenager Birdie Nichols showcases a love ambush in the wild west in her Nu Country TV debut.
The desperate cowgirl finds love in a chance encounter with a rugged cowboy.
It ends happily for both young lovers.
Birdie, 18, moved from Arizona to Nashville to follow her dreams.
Blue Lightning Ambush is on her debut album Into The West.

Vince Gill And Maggie Rose Explore Love

Veteran Oklahoma star Vince Gill and Maryland minstrel Maggie Rose return to our show with a love lament.
Gill, now 68, and Maggie, now 36, explore a ruptured romance.
Vince was a member of the Eagles, Cherry Bombs and Pure Prairie League and has released 34 albums and toured here several times.
I Can’t Make You Love Me is on Maggie’s fourth album No One Gets Out Alive that was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Rose, born Margaret Rose Durante, on May 19, 1988, released her first EP Maybe Tonight as Durante on April 19, 2011.
Gill and Texan Wade Bowen appeared on Nu Country TV with a duet on Lost In A World Without Merle Haggard from Vince’s 15th studio album Okie.
22 time Grammy winner Gill first toured Australia in the eighties with Byron Berline in Sundance and on his second tour as duet partner of hotshot English guitarist Albert Lee.
Vince married fellow singer Amy Grant on March 10, 2000, and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in March.

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 45.
