Swift Visits Hometowns And Nearby Hills

Berwick balladeer Andrew Swift hit a wide open road in his panel van as he headed back to his hometown in his return to our show.
He also visited Beaconsfield, Kangaroo Ground and Research.
His journey ended when he serenaded a bucolic belle who rang for him on his trusty guitar.
Backing vocalists Gretta Ziller and Ashleigh Leef also guest on Nothing Better that is on his fourth album.
Swift also fronted our show with Ziller at Curtin Room in Carlton in her Nu Country video Go On – fifth single from her Queen Of Boomtown album.

Clancy Pye Enjoys Physio And Music

Orange and Oberon raised singer-songwriter and physio therapist Clancy Pye mourns the passing of an old friend and looked forward to the future in her new video.
The dual Tamworth Star Maker finalist and farm girl adorned her new video with a young child’s birthday cake for better days.
Days Like This is her third album title track.

Pete Schlegel Revisits Hurricane Helene

Ohio born dairy farm raised singer-songwriter Pete Schlegel depicts the disaster of Hurricane Helene in his Nu Country debut.
Pete worked as a state trooper and EMS helicopter pilot before his music career.
The River is on his sixth album out this year.

Charly Reynolds Confession

Florida femme fatale Charly Reynolds has a murder confession in her return to our show.
Charly, just 25, revealed how she put her ex-husband in an early grave in her debut album title track Off The Record.
It follows her first EP Perfect Timing.

Californian Nate Smith and Canadian Avril Lavigne return with a vast contrast on death.
Nate is no stranger to death – he survived a bush fire when his California home burned down.

Avril, now aged 40, has released seven albums and appeared in movies and telemovies.

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 45.
Win Pearse Coleman Vungtau Ferry CD

Former seaman and Nu Country TV member singer-songwriter Pearse Coleman has donated copies of his Vungtau Ferry CD album to new Nu Country TV members to celebrate Anzac Day.
The latter day Camberwell resident joined the Navy in 1969 and in 1970 was posted to HMAS Sydney for 18 months and ferried 6RAR soldiers and tanks and support gear to and from Vungtau during the Vietnam war.
Pearse wrote Vungtau Ferry in a tribute to those early days when returning service men and women were not welcomed home.
The song reflected his memories of service on HMAS Sydney during that bitter conflict.
Pearse also donated 350 copies of his CD to the National Vietnam veterans Museum exhibition on Phillip Island.
The exhibition is celebrating returned service men and women of the Vietnam war.
