Texan tourist Drake Milligan and fellow Texan Will Carter headline Nu Country TV at 10 pm on Saturday March 28 on Channel 31/ Digital 44.
Illinois born Hammond Brothers twins and Grammy nominated bluegrass band Sister Sadie appear on the show repeated at 1 am on Monday.
Nashville singer-songwriter Morgan Myles and Florida escapee Matt Allum debut on the program filmed, edited and produced by co-host Laith Graham.
Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.

Drake Previews His July Australian Tour
Texan Drake Milligan previews his return Australian tour in winter by performing his second album title track Tumbleweed.
Drake, now 27, plays the Corner Hotel in Richmond on July 8, Liberty Hall in Sydney on July 9 and Lasso Country Music Festival at Eagleby in Queensland on July 11.
He recently released a duet with Canadian chanteuse Shania Twain on I’ll Be Here With You from The Gray House TV series.
Tumbleweed follows his 2022 debut album Dallas/Fort Worth and 2022 EP Juke Box Songs and How Much Beer he wrote with fellow Texan Randall King, Luke Laird and Brice Long.
In 2023 he collaborated with The Reklaws on the single Honky Tonkin’ About and joined the duo to perform the song live at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards in Hamilton, Ontario.
Milligan debuted live in Australia at the 2024 CMC Country Music Festival in Queensland.
He appeared on American Idol in 2018 and America’s Got Talent in 2022 and was a teenage prodigy cast as Elvis Presley in CMT’s 2017 TV series Sun Records.
Drake also fronted The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Grand Ole Opry, Stagecoach, and CMA Music Festivals and made history as the first artist to perform on an F1 racetrack during the inaugural F1 Grid Gigs in Austin, Texas.

Will Carter Holding On

Fellow Texan Will Carter returns to Nu Country TV after he debuted on our show with Water Tower – his tribute to hometown Katy.
This week he performs Holding On from his fourth album Had It All Wrong.
He was joined by his wife, daughter, band and wildlife as he headed to the bush.

The band features Will Carter (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dillan Dostal (lead guitar), Carlos Pineda Avila (bass), Sway Jacob Lee (drums), and Bino (fiddle, keys, and percussion).

Sister Sadie Bluegrass Belles Ring Loud And Clear

Grammy nominated bluegrass band Sister Sadie, who formed in 2012 with icon Dale Ann Bradley at the helm, debut on Nu Country this week.
The sizzling sextet performed Do What You Want from their fourth album All Will Be Well.
Band members excel on mandolin, fiddle, banjo and guitar and have written, arranged and produced their records.
All members wrote songs for major bluegrass and country folk awards.
Band members are Gena Britt (banjo, vocals), Deanie Richardson (fiddle), Jaelee Roberts (guitar, lead vocals), Dani Flowers (guitar, vocals), Rainy Miatke (mandolin, vocals) and Katie Blomarz-Kimball (bass, vocals).
“We’ve never been interested in playing a role to fit someone else’s idea of what bluegrass should look like,” says Deanie Richardson, the band’s fiery fiddler and a two-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year. “We’ve always played from the heart, and from the gut.”
“This album is us, no filter,” says Gena Britt, founding member and banjo powerhouse. “We didn’t try to stay inside any lines. We just wrote and recorded what felt honest.”

Hammond Brothers twins Dale and Gale are joined by a femme fatale on their Nu Country debut.
The duo are sons of Wilma and Leslie Hammond – Baptist pastors and evangelists.
They began their music career aged 5 travelling and singing gospel music with their father and now live in Nashville.
The duo was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame in 2013.
They perform Can’t Stop from their fourth album that follows Cap Guns And Silly Horses.
The Hammond Brothers cover genres of country pop gospel and rockabilly and classic songs.
They have performed and played major venues Grand Ole Opry, Las Vegas Hilton and Broadway and won many awards in their career.

Morgan Myles headed to mountains and valleys as she revived Gerry Beckley penned America band huge hit Sister Golden Hair.
Morgan, now 38, released her Therapy album in 2020 before soaring charts after scoring fame on 2022 Voice TV show.
Sister Golden Hair follows her latest album Laced that features 12 of her original songs.
She also revamped Naughty List Blues and the holiday classic Rocking Around the Christmas Tree in December.

Myles has a live album recorded and mixed by Bob Clearmountain at Apogee Studio in Santa Monica, California.
Recorded in one take with no overdubs, Myles revealed “In a time where music is so often manufactured, I wanted to deliver something real and honest.”
She also has another new album produced by multi-Grammy Award-winning producer Ross Hogarth.
Her songwriting draws inspiration from writing sessions in Muscle Shoals, Austin, and Nashville.

Matt Allum Hits The Speedway

Florida born Matt Allum, who chased his music dreams after earning a Masters’ Degree at university, debuts on our show.
Jacksonville born Allum shot his video at the Newport Speedway in Tennessee.
As The Tires Burn is on Matt’s latest album.
Matt was born on a military base in Jacksonville, Florida.
Allum moved from place to place before his family settled in Peachtree City, Georgia, where he spent most of his childhood.
Allum later attended the University of Mississippi where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business.
He is now pursuing his MBA at University of Tennessee specialising in supply chain management.
