Frecko Family Hit The Blackline

Copacabana family duo Frecko – Jason Freckelton and his son Jack – hail from NSW central coast but hit the national highways road with their music.
They also venture out on a rustic road on their bikes in their new video Blackline that follows their Daughter’s New Ride, Good Times and Bury Me Deep.
Blackline is on their third album Dreams Are Hard To Sell.
They depicted the struggles of a young child whose mother and father go missing in action in their previous Nu Country TV video Daughter’s New Ride.
They wrote their song in Newcastle on a drive home from a concert.

The duo filmed another joyous video Good Times – celebration of Australian resilience when times get tough – near a town named Broke with director Jay Seeney.
Their previous hit Bury Me Deep – story of forgotten rural towns of Australia and their struggle with drought, fires and flood in the face of political inaction – is in new documentary Bone Dry.

Castellows Triplets Front Porch Picking

Georgian triplet sisters The Castellows – Eleanor, Lily, and Powell Balkcom – performed on their front porch on their Nu Country TV debut.
The deep south sisters wrote all seven songs on their debut EP and perform Sheltered from third EP The Homecoming.
It follows previous EP A Little Goes A Long Way.
The trio released Sheltered – an autobiographical tune that explored unique life experiences they had being homeschooled and growing up on a farm.
“Homecoming encompasses the way we’ve been feeling for the last year,” The Castellows revealed.
“A lot of these songs are very personal to us and share our convictions about the world. We take our listeners on a bit of a journey through these songs, and our hope is that they’ll get to know us better after listening. One way to sum up the EP is through our favourite lyric on the whole project. It’s from the chorus of Freeway: ‘You don’t know what you’re feeling until you hear it in a song.’

They also covered Patty Loveless hit You Don’t Even Know Who I Am and collaborated with Flatland Cavalry on Place They Call Home.
The trio began their Homecoming Tour in Austin on September 13.

They filmed Nothing’s Working live at Woody’s bar in Greenville, Maine.
It’s on their tenth album Higher Up In The Hills.

Luke and his wife Clarissa took viewers on a trip in their Chevvy pick-up truck in their previous Nu Country TV video Dogs And Horses where they fed their horses and dogs before hitting the stage at the Maine state theatre.
