Illinois born singer-songwriter Margo Price headlines Nu Country TV on Saturday August 23 at 9 pm on Channel 31/Digital 44.
Fellow Illinois singer Bailey Zimmerman, Arkansas teenager and Australian tourist Waylon Wyatt and Kentucky party girl Tyra Madison front our show, repeated at 3 am on Monday.
Queensland sister trio Vixens Of Fall and Melbourne country singer Larry Jenkins appear on our program filmed and edited by our co-producer Laith Graham.

Mid-West Farmer’s daughter Margo Price urges peers to stand up and fight for their rights in her return to our show.
Margo, now 42, takes to the wheel of her pick-up truck, tractor and couch in her jubilant journey after winning many fans on her Australian tours.
Don’t Let The Bastards Get You Down is on the Illinois born singer’s 12th album Hard-Headed Woman.
Price also released a new book Maybe We’ll Make It.

Margo previously fronted our show with Been To The Mountain, Letting Me Down, Leftovers, A Little Pain, Desperate & Depressed, Weakness, Hurting on the Bottle, Hands Of Time and It’s Not Drink Driving If You Are Riding a Horse and Twinkle-Twinkle.
Margo played the famed Out On The Weekend festival at Williamstown and other Melbourne gigs on her 2018 Australian tour.
Price and guitarist husband Jeremy Ivey became parents after that tour.

Bailey Zimmerman Boomerangs

Fellow Illinois singer-songwriter Bailey Zimmerman, who played packed houses on his 2023 tour here with Morgan Wallen, returns to our show.
Zimmerman, now 25, also headlined a Riding Hearts festival on his tour.

This week he performs Coming In Cold from his second album Different Night Same Rodeo.
Bailey previously headlined our show in 2022 and 2023.

Waylon Wyatt And Willow Avalon

Arkansas teenager and December tourist Waylon Wyatt fronts our show with guest Willow Avalon on the eve of his Australian tour in October.
They sang of the burning of a happy romance.
Waylon plays Triffid in Brisbane on Wednesday October 22 and the Riding Hearts festival in Sydney on Saturday October 25 and Melbourne on Sunday October 26.
Waylon, just 18, hails from Arkansas.

Willow, now 26, is from Georgia.
Her debut album was Southern Belle Raising Hell.
Smoke And Embers is on Waylon’s EP Out Of The Blue that scored over 55 million streams.
Wyatt was presented RIAA Gold certification for his single Arkansas Diamond and performed on the Till The Sun Goes Down Tour with Sam Barber and the Turnpike Troubadours.

Kentucky queen Tyra Madison, now 28, debuts on our show after singing on stage from the age of four.
Tyra hails from Pine Top in Kentucky and performs Party Girl from her new album that follows her hits California King, Hostage and Ain’t No Dime.

Vixens Of Fall Make Their Mama Proud

Queensland sister trio Vixens Of Fall perform their maternal tribute on their return to our show.
The Cairns born sisters grew up with their poet-singer dad’s music before moving to Redcliffe in Brisbane.
Vixens Of Fall began as Nina, Wren and Lulu Whitehouse.
They now feature Roxy Petrucci on drums, Britt Lightning, Julia Lage and Rosita.
Make My Mama Proud follows their debut album Magic In The Chaos.

Melbourne country singer Larry Jenkins professes to have a special vision when he looks out his window.
Jenkins performs All I See Is Stars on his Nu Country TV debut.

George, Waylon, Merle and Willie Nelson were among country historian Barbara Dowling’s favourite Texans.
The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.
She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.
Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.
Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 46.
