North Carolina singer-songwriter Eric Church headlines Nu Country TV on Saturday August 2 at 9 pm on Channel 31/Digital 44.

Texan outlaw Cody Jinks and Pistol Annies singer Ashley Monroe return to our show, repeated at 3 am on Monday.

Tamworth treble golden guitarist Max Jackson and fellow NSW singer Jasmine Sparkes close our program filmed and edited by our co-producer Laith Graham.

Nu Country TV is a highlight of C 31 streaming list on Digital 44.

Eric Church lives up to his name on his return to fronting our show.

Eric, now 48, journeyed down the road from a church to a bar or two in his Hands Of Time video.

Church hails from Granite Falls in North Carolina.

Hands Of Time is on his 11th album Evangeline versus The Machine.

Eric was backed by his Church Choir including duet vocalist Johanna Cotton in previous Nu Country video Heart On Fire.

Church followed his 2020 CMA entertainer of year award performing the national anthem with Jazmine Sullivan at the Super Bowl game in Florida.

He also appeared on our show with Hippie Radio from his seventh album Desperate Man.

Eric is a prolific chart topper – his sixth #1 hit was Raise Em Up with expat Australasian superstar Keith Urban.

In mid-2017 Church underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot caused by a birth defect that put his top rib bone too close to his collarbone, causing thoracic outlet syndrome.

Cody Jinks – The Bible Or The Bottle

Texan outlaw Cody Jinks had to choose between the bible or the bottle of Jack Daniels as he boomeranged to our show.

Cody, now 44, hails from near Fort Worth – Cowtown.

He spent 22 years in the Air Force and has been married for 25 years.

Found is on his 13th album In My Blood that was released on July 25.

Jinks also fronted our show with Few More Ghosts and Outlaws And Mustangs.

Cody and his band Tone Deaf Hippies also appeared on our show with Loud & Heavy at Adobe Sessions Unplugged in Tornillo, Texas, in 2015 and Biblical parable Cast No Stones on Asleep At The Wheel singer Ray Benson’s Texas Music Scene.

The Tennessee troubadour reveals why she loves locos in her first video I Like Trains.

Knoxville born Ashley also joins Marty Stuart for The Touch from her sixth solo album Tennessee Lightning.

Mississippi born Stuart, 66, once wed Johnny Cash’s daughter Cindy.

He is now married to fellow singer Connie Smith, just 83.

Ashley, now 38, wed Chicago White Sox pitcher John Danks at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee, on October 24, 2013, after they met through a mutual friend after one of her shows in 2011.

Blake Shelton was the wedding Master Of Ceremonies and his former singing spouse and Pistol Annies singer Miranda Lambert was maid of honour.

Ashley also fronted our show with fellow Texan Jon Randall with Hands On You from her fifth solo album Sparrow, Hot Rod Pipe Dream, Like A Rose and Onto Something Good from her second solo CD The Blade in 2015.

She appeared with the Pistol Annies on Nu Country with Got My Name Changed Back and Hush-Hush.

Max Jackson Likes Grass

Tamworth treble golden guitarist Max Jackson reveals her penchant for a different class of grass in her return to our show.

The Coonamble born belle wed Jeremy Minett in the Hunter Valley in 2022.

She previously appeared on our show with her equine video Hold My Horses.

Max, born Makaylie Foodey, released her first album Life Of The Party in 2020.

She overcame asthma as a child to chase her music and toured America where she wrote songs and played Nashville.

Max hosted the 2025 Golden Guitars show and won Female Artist of Year and her hit A Little More Country won Single of Year.

NSW Central coast singer Jasmine Sparkes goes from country to coast in her Nu Country TV debut.

Jasmine takes viewers on rustic rural routes on her debut single Country To Coast – a tribute to her hometown Yarramalong.

She illustrated it with her bronco and surf boards.

Jasmine’s journey in music began when she was just 10 in churches and musical theatres.

She is also a member of the Central Coast trio Soul Station and Newcastle based band Bad Paris.

The Waylon, Highwaymen, Merle and George discs were donated by Barbara who died at 77 in December, 2020.

She co-hosted Long In The Saddle in our Nu Country FM era and was pioneer Australian and Victorian country music awards judge.

Barbara was admired for rising above losing her sight as a young woman and her country passion with annual trips to Waylon’s birthplace in Littlefield, West Texas.

Waylon died at 64 on February 13, 2002, and is survived by singing spouse Jessi, now 81, and son Shooter, 46.
