Larry and Cameron High In The Saddle

Larry Cann and former Nu Country TV host Cameron Cusack showcase their love of country music in their Nu Country return.
They perform their bush retreat eulogy I’m Craving Country.

Cann and James Blundell, now 60, hit the rodeo and road and rounded up sheep, cattle and songs as they revived Jame’s 1992 hit This Road from Larry’s third album The Road, Family and Home in their previous appearance on our show.
The Chinchilla melon farm born singer-songwriter and father of three was inspired by suffering of farmers in the bush and beyond on his Nu Country debut with his pathos primed Country Cries.
Kingaroy singer-songwriter Larry’s music supports Drought Angels rural relief charity foundation.
Country Cries and joyous Country Cool are on his previous album produced by expat Australian Michael Flanders in Nashville and featured four Cann originals including Some Kind Of Cowboy penned with Allan Caswell.
The latter day singer’s rodeo work as competitor-ring announcer takes him overseas and fuelled 20 years of radio programming and marketing.
Cameron, 34, hosted Nu Country when he lived at Merimbula on the NSW Sapphire Coast.

He was discovered by former Nu Country producer and teacher Peter Staubli who taught at Northcote High School with our late host and producer Mid Pacific Bob Olson.
Cameron now lives at Palm Beach north of Cairns and has released three albums and his Who We Are documentary.
Cameron previously fronted our show with his Endless Summer video.

He recorded two of those albums after having a liver transplant.
