Movie star-singer-songwriter Dolly Parton celebrates her 80th birthday year with some good old gals – Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire on the 68th season premiere of Nu Country TV at 10 pm on Saturday April 18 on Channel 31/ Digital 44.
Texan triple Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, fellow Texans Midland , Chris Chitsey and fellow Grammy winner Ashley McBryde boomerang to the show repeated on Monday at 1 am.
North Carolina coal-miner’s son Luke Combs and fellow singing actor Jelly Roll front the program filmed, edited and produced by co-host Laith Graham.

They join Dolly for her recent hit Light Of A Clear Blue Morning on her 71st album released last year.
The 11-time Grammy winner is still touring with her pals and supporting international charities.
Net proceeds from this recording and video benefit paediatric cancer research at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Parton recently recovered from illnesses that caused her to cancel shows but quipped “I Ain’t Dead Yet.”
Dolly and Zac Brown recently fronted our show with their Butterfly video and was joined by Nigerian born gospel ace Blessing Offor with Somebody’s Child.
She revived historic Collective Soul song Shine as she took a trip down memory lane and other Nashville locales.

She released Dolly Parton’s Baking Collection that includes her Southern Style Coconut Flavoured Cake Mix, Southern Style Banana Flavoured Cake Mix, Creamy Buttercream Frosting, Chocolate Buttercream Frosting and collectible tea towel and spatula.

Miranda Lambert Delivers More Postcards From Texas
Texan triple Grammy winning singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert finds love in the arms of the law and her audiences.
Miranda, now 42 and ex singing spouse of fellow star Blake Shelton and Anderson East, is now married to New York City Police officer Brendan McLoughlin.
She performs Last Goodbye that follows her 11th studio album Postcards From Texas and four with the Pistol Annies.
Miranda previously fronted our show with Run, Ain’t In Kansas Anymore on The Twisters soundtrack and Damn It Randy she penned with husband Brendan for Postcards From Texas.
Lambert runs canine shelters in the Lone Star state and way beyond and thanked Ram Trucks for supporting her Mutt Nation Foundation’s disaster relief efforts in the Twisters.
Michael Hardy, Lukas Nelson and Jake Worthington joined Miranda for her Music For Mutts benefit concert at Nashville Ascend Amphitheatre last year with Ashley Monroe, Natalie Hemby, Little Big Town, Dan + Shay and Riley Green.
Her Mutt Nation Foundation 15th anniversary fundraiser included adoption events.
The nonprofit raised over $10 million to promote adoption support shelters, advance spay and neuter and assist emergency response during natural disasters.

Chris Chitsey Questions Bar-Room Belle
Texan Chris Chistey had a question for a bar-room belle as he opens our show.
He performed Where Ya Been Girl that follows his 10th Texas #1 hit Chasing Taillights.
It was written by The Peach Pickers – Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip.
Chris hails from Austin with a swag of hits in his 30-year career begun at uni where he scored a masters’ degree.
They included At A Time Like This, John Wayne Rides Again and With A Body Like That on his debut album.

Luke Combs And Jelly Roll Go Gospel
North Carolina coal-miner’s son Luke Combs, now 36, and fellow singing actor-rapper Jelly Roll, now 41, dig deep into their gospel spirit as they celebrated a mutual love.
They perform I’m Never Alone that follows Luke’s sixth solo album The Way I Am and Jelly Roll’s 10th album Beautifully Broken.
Tennessean Jelly Roll has mixed his music with acting and wrestling and appeared on Nu Country with Only God Knows.
Luke previously fronted our show with Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma, Where The Wild Things Are, Six Feet Apart, Growing Up And Getting Old and Cold Beer Calling My Name.
Combs, who toured here last year, and singing spouse Nicole are parents of three sons.

Grammy winning Arkansas born singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde delivers sartorial advice to gal pals in her return to our show.
Ashley, now 42, suggested speedy dressing for a rescue party.
McBryde advises a neighbour Brenda to dress up when she tries to help break up a fight as the TV cameras are filming the fracas.
